Technologies

Swissjoule promotes the following technologies:

  • Photovoltaic, Wind, Hydroelectric
These technologies are the electricity generating devices.
Solar modules also come as Hybrid Modules generating electricity and heat at the same time.
Photovoltaic generators convert sunlight into electricity.
Wind turbines and Hydroelectric bridge the supply during night or cloudy days. Wind and Hydro are therefore complementing an installation to base load.
If available at site a system can be more balanced delivering electricity 24/7 independent from weather conditions.
  • Hydrogen, Ammonia
Hydrogen and Ammonia are end-products of electrolysis.
Electricity from Solar, Wind and Hydro can crack Water (H20) into Hydrogen or Ammonia. Both are gases at ambient or liquids under pressure.
    Usage of Hydrogen:
    – Hydrogen can be used as a highly efficient and lasting storage medium as it can effectivly re-converted into Water releasing electricity.
    – Hydrogen can replace carbon emitting commodities as gas, oil or coal to power heating and other high temperature production processes in different sectors as the cement-, steel-, paper- or aluminium production.
    – The right blend of Solar and Wind and Hydro (if available) in combination with Hydrogen storage and – usage is a blend, able to power transportation as railways, ships and even trucks and cars and to support the 24/7 production of economic zones
    – Hydrogen is also a commodity to be traded independently.

Due to its versatility Hydrogen can be seen as the oil of a de-carbonized society.
  • Water purification
Water is widely available nearly all over the world. However the right quality is an issue and a challenge for mankind.
Swissjoule and associates promote and offer water purification technology to process salt water, brackish water and otherwise polluted water into potable water.
Technology is available for household use, small and medium size communities and for utility scale.
Purification technology is made for the power supply of renewable solar generators. Is therefore independent from the grid and independent from price fluctuations of electricity.
Purification systems and its technology have to be designed for the given water quality according to an initial water analysis.
  • Waste processing
In Europe each individual is creating around 1 kg of mixed waste every single day. In other countries, even developing countries, waste creation is up to 0,5 kg per person and day.
In Europe Waste gets either recycled or incinerated to heat and electricity. Recycling system word fine in closed Logistik loops.

However if waste is polluted or mixed recycling is not possible. Therefore incineration or even export of waste to underdeveloped countries is the current choice.
Swissjoule and associates partnered for a technology to process the plastic fraction (Polyolefine and others) into Pyrolysis Oil.
This is the future base for synthetic fuels or additives.
Waste processing technology is already applicable in many countries worldwide. So are the off takers for the Oil.

Other technologies for different other waste types under development.

The above technologies assist to improve both: decreasing of environmental impact as carbon emissions and improvement of the economic situation where implemented.
